HK-Qingdao forum held

A Hong Kong-Qingdao forum aimed at helping enterprises in Shandong province build up their brands and tap the international market was held in coastal Qingdao city on Monday.

The forum, jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Qingdao city government, also delved on how to nurture Shandong`s tertiary industry, enhance enterprises` management and utilize the international capital market.

Fred Lam, executive director of HKTDC and head of the Hong Kong delegation, said his council will organize venture fund and financial organizations to Shandong to facilitate the province`s development.

A statutory body established in 1966 with a network of more than 40 offices worldwide, HKTDC provides a range of services to help global trade and promote Hong Kong as a platform for doing business.
