Chen Forng Shean, who kept on miniature creating as a hobby for some 30 years, was dubbed as "founder of the miniature art in Taiwan" by local reporters. Over the past three decades, the artist has created a large number of miniatures, which stuffed his studio. However, it is not an easy job to have good command of the job. "If the hands shake a little bit, the work will be destroyed, " Chen said, "my job is dealing with very fine things, so I learned to breathe and hold my breath. When I take a breath, I can hold it for 60 seconds, and then I can engrave every stroke with the rhythm of my pulse." (Xinhua/Hou Dongtao)
