Shandong plans to spend 210 million yuan ($32.61 million) on replenishing the province`s fishery resources this year, according to Shandong Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries.

Under the fiscal package, 128 million yuan ($19.89 million) will be spent on releasing 2.64 billion shrimps, turbot fries, ephyrsa and megolops into the ocean.

Since June, more than 620 million shrimps, 331.97 million ephyras and 84.62 million megalops have been released to restore aquatic diversity and to improve fishermen`s revenues.

Shandong province exported 571,000 tons of aquatic products to overseas markets in the first half of this year, generating $2.24 billion in revenue.
