Chinese scholar and calligrapher Ouyang Zhongshi writes the masthead for the Taishan Evening Newspaper.
 
The Taishan Evening Newspaper will be introduced on Sept 6, now that the project has won the approval of the General Administration of Press and Publication of the PRC. A trial edition was published today.

The evening newspaper is affiliated with Taishan Daily, which later will establish Taishan Evening Newspaper Ltd Co to oversee the new publication`s operations.

The newspaper is targeted at local residents in Tai`an in Shandong province.
