Chinese Miao ethnic group's language disappearing

A total of 407 people of Miao ethnic group, or 84 percent of the village population, live in the Xiaomaopoying Village, which is located in a valley deep in the mountains. Local government has set the village as the province`s only reservation area for Miao`s language. However, with more and more young people leaving their hometown to work in cities, Miao`s language is used by only less than one hundred villagers nowadays.
