A mainland deer gave birth to a female baby deer called "Diandian" in Liugong Island National Park in Weihai, east Shandong on Oct.26th,2011.The sika deer was presented to the Chinese mainland by Taiwan.
The cub is only 3.22 kg,  and its temperature is 37 ℃.The length of the body is 56 cm, height 40 cm,bust 33 cm and the abdominal circumference 33.5 cm. Park said that they prepared a fresh mulberry leaves and juicy feed for "Diandian" and her daughter. Also, the electrolyte solution is prepared to promote her milk. At present, both of them is in good condition.
