The four-day Ninth China (Zibo) International Ceramics Exposition and the 8th China (Zibo) New Material Technological Forum began on September 6.

Distinctive industrial ceramics, ceramic new material and glasses will be shown during the expositions.

The expositions will feature seven main activities, including the 2009 China (Zibo) Ceramics Product and Technological Innovation Development Forum, the China (Zibo) Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation and the First Zibo Culture and Art & Shandong Classic Rosewood Furniture Expo.

Zibo is well-known for ceramics in China. The city is now homes to approximately 150,000 people who work for nearly 600 ceramics-related enterprises that generate an annual revenue of over 40 billion yuan in total.
