Simen Tower: it lies at the southern suburb of Jinan City; major scenic spots are: Simen Tower, Jiuding Pine, Longhu Tower, etc. Simen Tower now is the earliest monolayer quadrel tower in our country, and it is thus called because it has a cycloidal arch at each side. The Tower was built in 611 AD., with a height of 15.04m and a side width of 7m, and the whole tower was built with big bluestones engraved with geometry.
