Libya NTC to move headquarters to Tripoli

BENGHAZI - Libyan rebel military spokesman Col. Ahmed Bani said Tuesday the rebel National Transitional Council (NTC) is to move its headquarters from Benghazi to the capital Tripoli within two days, the pan-Arab al-Jazeera TV reported.

Libyan rebels on Tuesday captured Muammar Gadhafi`s Bab al-Azizya compound in capital Tripoli after heavy fighting and looted an armory inside the vast barracks, while the whereabouts of the embattled Libyan leader and his sons remain unknown to the moment.

The NTC had met on March 5 in its eastern stronghold of Benghazi, where protests against Gadhafi were originated, and declared itself the sole representative of Libya.
