Eighteen people were injured when a liquefied petroleum gas pipeline exploded on Sunday inside a residential complex in Zaozhuang city, Shandong province.

The accident happened at the city`s Xinyuan Garden community at 7:36 am, according to rescuers.

City officials were at the scene to oversee the rescue work. The police are investigating the cause of the explosion.
