The sixth annuan Qingdao Music Festival will open August 17 and run through October 31. The festival includes three major attractions: 2010 Qingdao International Music Master Classes, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra`s seasonal performances, and Social Elegant Music Performance. Musicians will perform a total of 20 concerts.

Since the first Qingdao Music Festival was held in August 2005, it has become an important foundation of urban culture, branded the "land of music”. It has been written into the government work report every year as an important cultural work and gradually accepted and recognized by the general public. This year’s Qingdao Music Festival will hit the stage for the sixth time, bringing an elegant musical art performance to its growing audience.
